The Quabbin Reservoir watershed features over 100,000 acres of woodlands, streams, dirt roads, hiking trails, stone walls, cellar holes, and scenic views of the largest inland body of water in Massachusetts.
The Reservoir allows filmmaking to happen on a case-by-case basis, as the location is managed for drinking water supply. The Division of Water Supply Protection requires all requests for filming to be reviewed by their Regional Director.
