Scott Morris

I'm an accomplished filmmaker with 30 years of experience producing, directing, writing and editing documentaries and corporate, marketing and promotional films, videos and digital media. My connection to the Berkshires goes back to 1993, when my company produced a behind-the-scenes film featuring Douglas Trumbull and his work on the Luxor high-tech attractions. I also have long-term professional relationships with a number of technical and creative people who moved to the Berkshires from New York.



Major credits include my critically acclaimed independent film, "From The Ashes: The Life and Times of Tick Hall," a one-hour documentary about an historic home destroyed by fire, then painstakingly re-created by owners Dick Cavett and his wife, Carrie Nye. The film premiered on New York's Thirteen/WNET and was distributed nationally.
